The Swan Inn public house was built in 1661 and has a long history, as well as being a butchers it has also traded as a whore house!

Nowadays you can buy a pint and tuck into a tasty homemade meal cooked from scratch by our chef Lotta, and enjoy the flow of live music that runs through the air, several nights a week!

We have bands play in our function room which has lots of music memorabilia across the walls, beams and ceiling. As well as its own bar the function room is air conditioned so you can comfortably sit and enjoy the band. The function room can hold an intimate 80 people and boasts other functions such as small wedding receptions/anniversaries, birthday parties, and meetings.

The two bars offer a more country pub feel as the open fireplace and low ceilings give a realistic view of just how old The Swan Inn really is. We have a small snug area which is the place for a quiet meal or escaping from everyone!
